LEAP Projects Performance Story Reporting  – (Current) 2012.

 Client – QLD Department of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Multicultural Affairs.

 Work undertaken – photography, audio recording, filming, editing and producing.

 Outcome – A 10 minute promotional / evaluatory film comprising of performance story reporting for 2 projects included in the DATSIMA LEAP program.

 Welcome to Country – Fraser Coast Discovery Centre – (Current) 2012.

 Client – Fraser Coast Regional Council.

 Work undertaken – photography, audio recording, filming, editing and producing.

 Outcome – A 2-3 minute Welcome to Country film to be used as part of the daily operations of the soon to be constructed Fraser Coast Discovery Centre.

Looking Forward Looking Back – Mary River Oral History Project – (Current) 2012.

Client – Mary River Catchment Coordinating Committee.

Work undertaken – photography, interviewing, audio recording, filming, editing and producing.

Outcome – An archive and 10 minute documentary showcasing the various stories recorded.

‘Crossing Cultures: Creating on Country’ Project – 2011 & 2012 – Creative Regions & Te Runanga-a-lwi-o-Ngapuhi.

Work undertaken – The full recording and post-production to DVD of the 10 day event held in both 2011 and 2012.

Outcome – 2011 – A series of products including soundscapes, a short documentary and several event evaluation pieces documenting the event that pulled together 20 Maori and Aboriginal artists/  The DVD was displayed at several art gallery launches in Australia and New Zealand. 2012 – A 15 minute promotional DVD highlighting the 2012 event held in New Zealand.

Working on Country Ranger Training – Gidargil and Bunya Mountains Working on Country Rangers –  2010-2012.

Client – Burnett Mary Regional Group for NRM Inc. & Gidargil Development Corporation.

Work undertaken – photography, audio recording, filming, editing and producing – media training.

Outcome – Training to enable the 2 ranger groups to document the cultural heritage values, history and activities they undertake in their respective areas through the use of multimedia equipment and programs.

Bunya Mountains Traditional Knowledge Recording – (Current) 2009- 2012

Client – Burnett Mary Regional Group for NRM Inc. and the Bunya Mountains Elders Council via IHP Funding.

Work undertaking – photography, audio recording, filming, editing and producing.

Impending Outcome – Capture of primary traditional ecological knowledge for entry into the Bunya Mountains TEK Database so to preserve knowledge and enhance the management of sites of significance to the Bunya Mountains on and off the mountain.

Hidden Histories Project – Aug 2012

Client – Education Queensland – Indigenous Education Unit – North Coast Region

Work undertaking – community consultation, photography, audio recording, filming, editing and producing.

Impending Outcome – A North Coast Region Indigenous Educational Unit resource for State Schools within their region focused on the local community sharing stories about Australia’s hidden histories.

Once an Endangered Species – The Mary River Cod Story – March 2012

Impending Outcome – A DVD documenting the breeding programs, habitat restoration and other recovery actions for the conservation of the Mary River Cod –  for general community use.

Outcome – The screening of a 10 minute film at the opening of the Arts Queensland ‘Artspoken’ Conference enabling the delegates to have an understanding of local Bundaberg history.

Cultural Expressions – Capturing Traditional Ecological Knowledge of the Condamine River Catchment – May 2011.

Client – Condamine Alliance Inc.

Work undertaken – photography, audio recording, filming, editing and producing.

Outcome – A series of short digital stories on the traditional ecological knowledge and values of various sites within the Condamine catchment for general community viewing.

Work undertaken – input into the Pre-production phase of concept and member of the event crew which showcased the production at the Dreaming Festival 2010. Also filmed the screening at the Dreaming Festival as well.

Outcome – An event archive of which will be turned into a film of one complete theatre show, theatre production digital background imagery sequence.

Cherbourg Walk October 2009

Client – Major Brisbane Festivals

Work undertaken – filming and photography (4 weeks continuous).

Outcome – Photos were used in an event online blog which kept people up to date on the walks progress. Footage was provided for use in a 5min doco on the walk which screened at the finish line celebrations and via live link to France.
